I am that I am

Uno de mis grandes descubrimientos en el Festival de Reagge Internacional Uprising fue Dub Fx.

Cerrando la primera noche de la aventura no dejó indiferente a nadie y mucho menos a mi que no lo conocía. Un tipo solo con su voz y sus bases y, como podéis ver en el vídeo, con mucho sentido del arte, puede hacer bailar y saltar a tanta gente en cada concierto.

Desde el festival lo sigo por facebook y no hay semana que no me sorprenda con alguna versión o nuevo tema. Ahora estamos a la espera de Light Me On Fire (High Maintenance Remix).

La semana pasada se unieron los astros y el vídeo que veis más abajo vino a decirme todo lo que yo no conseguía expresar. Por eso hoy no es un día para Dub Fx, sino un día de canción, porque hoy I am that I am.

La canción original nos la traería Peter Tosh en 1977, músico de reggae que me ha encantado conocer, no solo por su música sino por su defensa de los derechos humanos y su activismo pro-legalización de la marihuana. Os dejo en primer lugar la canción original y más abajo la versión del gran Dub Fx, la versión que quería haceros llegar.
